1. What is VisiRun?

VisiRun is a GPS Track and Trace service for fleet management and remote control via Internet. VisiRun is offered with a clear, non-binding and all-inclusive monthly subscription fee. The monthly fee includes the leased GPS tracker, GPRS SIM and GPRS data traffic, and the unlimited use of the web software.

2. What is it for?

VisiRun allows companies to track, trace and manage their fleet on the road. VisiRun tracks and traces vehicle locations, position, routes, speed, stops, distance, driving time, rest time etc. of every vehicle of the company fleet. VisiRun allows your central office to communicate in real time with drivers and technicians on the field. VisiRun handles various types of alert, alarms and events, which can be configured directly by users. It also offers a wide range of detailed reports on any fleet activity.

3. How much does it cost?

To start using VisiRun simply subscribe to a simple, all inclusive, monthly subscription, which we offer without any kind of time obligation, minimum duration or interruption penalties. 4. What is the minimum duration of the subscription?

VisiRun subscription has no minimum duration, time obligation or interruption penalty. As stated in the Terms of Use, you can interrupt the subscription by simply returning to us the leased GPS tracker. Click here to view the detailed price list. Click here to read the Terms of Use.

5. What is the difference between the BASIC and ADVANCED plan?

The BASIC and ADVANCED plans are identical except for the frequency with which the position of the vehicle is transmitted. In the BASIC plan the position is transmitted once every 2 minutes whilst with the ADVANCED plan the position is transmitted once every minute. We recommend the ADVANCED plan to those who wish to control the vehicles with the maximum response and precision. For example: Ambulances, urban transports over short distances, deliveries and technical service in town, etc. You can switch from the BASIC to the ADVANCED plan or vice-versa at any given time simply by sending a request.

6. What is the coverage in the INTERNATIONAL plan?

7. How reliable is VisiRun?

VisiRun is design for enterprise customers. Our ITC infrastructure includes dozens of replicated and redundant servers with redundant network connectivity supplied by 4 different operators and with quality monitoring systems.

VisiRun does not require any time obligations or penalties in case of service interruption. Therefore it is our best interests to keep customers completely satisfied. The best way to verify the service quality is to activate the subscription for 1 or 2 vehicles without any obligations or penalties and thereby only risking the first monthly fee.

8. How do you install the VisiRun GPS Trackers?

After the subscription order has been placed, your GPS tracking devices are configured and activated by our technical staff, and then sent all over the world. Once you receive the GPS Tracking Kit, simply position the GPS device inside the vehicle, using a hidden space (behind the radio, the fuse holder area etc.), and connect the device to a permanent power supply of 12 to 30 volts, following the installation manual. Then position the GPS antenna inside the cabin at a point that allows the reception of GPS signals (close to the windshield etc.). The GPS antenna may also be simply hidden in the dashboard as long as it is not covered with metallic materials that may obstruct the signal.

You will receive the GPS tracking device already activated. The GPS device will begin sending position data as soon as the device is connected to the power supply, without the need for any further operation. The installation operation is, therefore, very simple and can be carried out by the client themselves or by any of their mechanics and does not take more than 30 minutes per vehicle.

9. How big is the GPS Tracker?

The GPS tracking device is very small and discrete. It measures 8cm X 8cm X 3cm. It can be easily hidden in a dashboard (e.g. behind the radio, fuse holder, in the document holder etc.). The GPS antenna to be placed in inside the vehicle is 3m long with a small receiver with an outermost range of 2 cm. No interventions of any kind are required on the vehicle body. 10. How can I start to use VisiRun?

To use VisiRun simply activate 1 or more subscriptions in the [Subscribe Online] section. You will immediately receive the access code to the web control software and after 10 days you will receive the GPS tracking device already activated and ready to use. Click here to Subscribe Online.

11. How long does it take to get the GPS Tracker?

The GPS Track and Trace devices are sent via express courier all over the world within 10 working days from your order sent through the [Buy Online] section available here.

12. How does the office communicate with drivers?

Simply click on a specific vehicle in the Current Position section, and write the text message to be sent. When you click on ENTER, the message will be sent to the driver’s mobile phone. The driver can then answer by using the reply button on his phone. All of the messages sent and/or received through VisiRun are archived and may be consulted and searched at any time.

13. Do you need to install the control software?

No. VisiRun is a fleet management platform with a web-native interface and does not need to be installed locally on your PCs. Simply connect to www.visirun.com from any PC connected to the internet and enter your access code to begin to use the service. No installation or local updating on your company computers. VisiRun can also be used in a multi-user, multi-branch and multi-company mode.

14. Can VisiRun also work as an anti-theft alarm?

VisiRun allows the setting of up to 10 types of different alarms in the “Event configuration” section of each vehicle. When an alarm is set off you will receive a warning email or SMS on your mobile phone with the alarm details. The different types of alarms that can be configured include: unexpected movement alarms, unexpected stop alarms, arrival or departure from work site or warehouse alarms, loading door opening alarm, anti-theft key, activation of external devices alarm, exceeding maximum speed etc.
